Smok Nord 2 Kit
After a successful first version, Smok gives a sequel to the North series. This new Nord2 has been modernized with the addition of a screen and a power controller (1 to 40 watts). We remain on a very compact product which still has a 1500 mAh battery.
It is accompanied by two pods with a capacity of 4.5 ml each. One will be intended for a vape in direct inhalation, it is compatible with RPM type coils. And the other will be oriented more towards an indirect inhaled vape, it uses the Nord coil type resistors.
Always so beautiful, it offers a wide choice of colors and it is always offered at a very competitive price. A pod that we will find in the pockets of vapers looking for a simple, complete, compact and inexpensive kit

SMOK Nord Review
I was pretty apprehensive about the SMOKE North initially. However, I kept hearing great things about it and decided to buy a few units. That was about three weeks ago and I've been having a lot of fun with this pod mod ever since.
It's dirt cheap, especially when compared to devices like the MiPod and Lost Vape Orion, runs both sub-ohm and MTL coils, is refillable, looks good, and has great battery life. I'm really struggling to find any real negatives about this pod vape as it works so well.
Flavor is great, draw is a bit loose for a true MTL vape but still very good, and battery life is great - like all-day vaping great. I took mine to Biarritz over the weekend and it didn't miss a beat. Not once. And for less than 30 euro, that's really excellent.
This thing is basically highly recommended. For value, taste, performance and everything else in between. The SMOK Nord hype is 100% real. Do yourself a favor and grab one. You will not regret it.
SMOK Nord Full Review (Design, Features, Performance, Coils)
SMOK is no stranger to pod vapes. It's done a lot over the last few years, and most of them haven't been great in my opinion. However, SMOK Nord represents a complete turnaround for the company – in more ways than one.
Read on for my full, in-depth review of the SMOK Nord...
Any good pod mod system needs to be portable. That's the whole point. The SMOK Nord isn't the smallest pod mod on the planet, but it's perfectly proportioned and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, making it ideal for stealth vaping.
The exact dimensions are as follows: 94 x 30 x 18.8 mm and it is powered by an internal battery of 1100 mAh. The mouthpiece fully detaches and runs unlike most pod mods that use actual coils that you plug into the bottom of the mouthpiece.
The SMOK Nord charges via microUSB, and it charges pretty darn fast too. I like to fill mine up when I'm not using them. That way it always has enough battery when I'm not at home.
It is available in both resin colors and standard shades. For the latter, you have the following options:
The resin models look much better in my opinion. If style is important to you, choose the resin options. If not, you will be 100% fine with the default color models.
Firing the SMOK Nord is easy too: there's a button on the front that also lets you check the battery life (two clicks) - green is over 70%, orange is over 50% and red is under 30%.
Installing the coils on the north is easy too: just prime them with a few drops of e-juice, insert and snap in place. Just make sure the indentations on the coil ends are facing East and West. Once you have done that, you can start vaping.
Overall, the design of the SMOK Nord is super simple and very classy. I really like it. The vape is easy to set up the first time and is great from the start. Honestly it couldn't be easier and I love that it runs real coil heads too.
SMOK North features
The main trick of the SMOK Nord is that it can do both standard MTL vaping and sub-ohm vaping. It comes with two coil heads: 1x 1.4ohm and 1x 0.6ohm. You can also buy ceramic coil heads for this, although these are sold separately.
Both coil heads are great, delivering excellent flavor and lots of clouds. Even the MTL coil head puts out a TON of vapor. Personally I prefer the MTL coil heads. Why? Simple, they have better battery life and I like using Nic Salts E Juice in my pod mods.
SMOK North coils
As mentioned, you get two coils with the SMOK Nord. One for DTL vaping and one for MTL vaping. Both are excellent and deliver excellent flavor and clouds, but I generally prefer the MTL coil heads as I like longer battery life and using Nic Salts E Juice in my pods.
I don't exactly have a good relationship with SMOK's coils in their sub-ohm tanks, but in this case SMOK nailed the coil heads - they last forever before burning out.
Case in point: The first MTL coil head I installed in the SMOK Nord took over two weeks before the flavor started to fade. The DTL coil head ran almost as well - about 10 days. This is very impressive in both contexts. I have ZERO complaints about this.
Flavor with both coil heads is superb. I was really blown away by how good the vape is on the SMOK Nord. I mean I'm a massive RDA user but since owning the SMOK Nord I haven't touched my normal setup in almost a month!
SMOK Nord replacement coils
When it comes time to change your coils, you have a number of options when it comes to SMOK Nord replacement coils. You can choose between the 0.6 Ohm Mesh Coil (DTL), the 1.4 Ohm Coil (MTL) and the 1.4 Ohm Ceramic Coil (MTL).
My personal favorite would be the 1.4 ohm coil (MTL). In my experience it produces the best flavor and draw - I prefer MTL for my pod vapes. And I could never get the ceramic coil to play ball. For this reason I run my SMOK Nord more or less on SMOK's 1.4 ohm coil (MTL).
The SMOK Nord powers an internal 1100mAh battery, and that's a very good thing because it means you're getting very good battery life. We're talking all-day vaping with the MTL coil head and a solid 8/9 hours with the more powerful DTL coil heads.
The battery life of the SMOK Nord has never let me down. Even on vacation, as long as I remember to charge it overnight, the Nord lasted all day with moderate to normal use.
For optimal performance, you should charge the Nord for about an hour halfway through the day, or simply charge it if you won't be using it for an extended period of time. This ensures that the battery is always 80-100% full.
Bottom line? The battery life of the SMOK Nord is fantastic for a pod mod. Slightly up in the top 1%. So if battery life is important to you, know you're in very good hands with the Nord.
Basically excellent. I don't recall ever using a pod mod that I liked as much as the SMOK Nord, with the exception of the much more expensive Lost Vape Orion DNA pod.
It looks good, is easy to use, has a great battery and loads of flavor (with both coil heads). I own a lot of pod mods, but I don't tend to keep using them after I've finished testing. However, with the Nord I use it as my main steamer day to day and will likely continue to do so for the foreseeable future. It really is that good!
And I'm an RDA user. That's how I like to vape, but the Nord has kept me interested and engaged for weeks. I just can't remember the last time a pod mod system did this...
Should you buy this vape?
yes you should If you're anything like me and tend to spread pod mods due to battery life and vapor quality issues, know this: the SMOK Nord is nothing like your run-of-the-mill pod systems.
Flavor and vapor quality is immense. The battery life is brilliant, lasts all day and the design and finish are near perfection.
I love the look and feel of the pod system itself. It's well built, super sturdy and very portable. But it also doesn't feel cheap or plasticky, which is a common complaint of many pod systems. I also love that it can run two different types of coil heads too.
I have a few pod vapes in my collection. But the SMOK Nord is definitely one of the best. Is it better than the UWELL Caliburn? Difficult to say - both are very different. I think the MTL draw on the Caliburn is better, but the Caliburn can't handle sub-ohm vaping like the Nord.
Either way, both are excellent pod systems. The SMOK Nord is an excellent addition to the market and one that will no doubt find many friends in the coming months thanks to its great combination of epic design and great performance.
I love this pod mod vape and will be using it for a long time.
