What is a nicotine shot for shake & vape?
With the TPD2 it was forbidden to sell nicotine-containing liquids in containers larger than 10ml. These must not exceed the mark of 18 or 20 mg nicotine.
We sell nicotine shots with 18mg, as these together with the 50ml from a shortfill result in exactly 3mg. With the current vaporizer technology, this nicotine content is probably the most popular on the market. Or it is mostly vaped with 3mg nicotine.
Thus, a nicotine shot is nothing more than an extra shot of nicotine for liquids that do not yet contain nicotine.
For self-mixers, the regulation of the bottle sizes of nicotine-containing liquids & bases is of course also a challenge. You now have to buy significantly more nicotine shots than base so that a reasonable liquid can be mixed.
Nicotine shots for mixing (nicotine shots)
These 10ml bottles are designed for use with short-volume e-liquids and can be added to any nicotine-free e-liquid. They can also be used to discreetly vaporize the liquid.
Short-fill e-liquids are 0 mg e-liquids that offer enough space in the bottle for a nicotine shot. Once your nicotine shots are up to 3 mg of nicotine strength.
Some of the different formats available for short fills are as follows:
60 ml bottle with 50 ml 0 mg vape liquid. Add 1 x 18 mg or 20 mg unflavored shot to make 60 ml of 3 mg juice.
100 ml bottle with 80 ml 0 mg vape liquid. Add 1.5 x 18 mg or 20 mg of unflavoured Nic-Shot to get 100 ml of 3 mg juice.
120 ml bottle with 100 ml 0 mg vape liquid. Add 2 x 18 mg or 20 mg of unflavored ingredients to make 120 ml of 3 mg juice.
Once you have one or more nicotine balls, you need to make sure to shake the bottle vigorously. It is also advisable to gently shake and / or tilt the bottle every time you walk.
